Description
Seeking a Cloud Architect to assist with the continued build out of client’s multi cloud environment. This position will support the migration of systems, build out of secure environments, configuration of cloud services.
Roles & Responsibilities
The candidate must coordinate with client Security and partner teams to support requests and changes for firewalls and network routing. The candidate will apply best practices for cloud architecture and design to provide scalable, flexible and sustainable cloud deployments. This includes automated deployments through CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies. Candidate must be able to work with vendors and independently to create architecture diagrams and complex multi cloud integrations with various DC systems. Architected designs must be monitorable and be cost effective solutions and deployments.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
REQUIRED / DESIRED Skills

Ability to work onsite 5 days a week.
10 years | Deep expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) including core services like compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
10 years | Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
10 years | Demonstrable work experience with Hybrid converged data centers and multi-cloud architecture.
7 years | Cost optimization, risk assessment and mitigation planning for cloud infrastructure.
5 years | Possess a working knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, load balancing, DNS, firewalls).
5 years | Security and compliance frameworks (Zero Trust, encryption, IAM, compliance standards like FedRAMP for government).
3 years | CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
3 years | Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
